Meet Raquel Henares, the dedicated ambassador of Jelenew. Raquel's journey in the world of triathlon and cycling spans over seven years, during which she has poured her heart and soul into these sports, making them an endless source of inspiration.
From her earliest days, Raquel felt a profound connection to sports, experimenting with various disciplines. However, her true passion lay in running. Her sports story commenced at a time when women were striving to establish themselves in this realm, and she's witnessed the remarkable transformation that has unfolded over the years, with more and more women embracing sports at both competitive and amateur levels.On August 26th, 2023, Raquel joined the 2023 Ironman 70.3 world championship. Set at the scenary Finnish Lake District, Lahti, this championship is an electrifying showcase of endurance and athleticism, featuring some of the world's most elite triathletes.
"Competing alongside some of the strongest and most passionate women in the world is something I will never forget. We were more than 2,000 participants, and during the race, I experienced something I had rarely felt before: solidarity and mutual support among competitors. In the past, rivalry among women was more pronounced, but this time, that rivalry transformed into a powerful bond." Raquel remarks.

"I have numerous challenges ahead of me and an inexhaustible energy to continue training and competing in this demanding discipline. "Jelenew is proud to work with "ironwomen" like Raquel. Besides providing customized triathlon apparel, Jelenew see this as an opportunity to inspire more female athletes shine through and push boundaries on the global stage.
