Jelenew orchestrated a charity cyclosportive June 3rd, 2023, to advocate and raise fund for individuals affected by epilepsy. This event took place in the picturesque setting of Mauvezin, Gers, and aims to raise awareness and funds to build a gym for the children of the CASTELNOUVEL MECCS, a medically supervised school dedicated to children with epilepsy. Cyclists of all levels joined, from beginners to seasoned riders, as this event is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

Marion Clignet
Jelenew's esteemed Chief Product Creator, Marion Cliget, had a remarkable journey from epilepsy patient to professional cyclist herself. Born in the US, Clignet was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 22 and was shunned by the United States Cycling Federation, She moved to France to continue her career as a track cyclist and eventually rode three Olympic races and won multiple medals under her belt. Clignet serves as a powerful inspiration for people affected with disabilities and she also actively advocates for the rights of disadvantaged individuals and female athletes.
The following week June 9th -11th, 2023, CIC - International Women's Tour of the Pyrenees took place in the Pyrenees Mountains in southwestern Europe. The three-stage race is a celebration of female riders and a warm-up to the Tour de France next month.

Jelenew became the key sponsor of the event, providing full cycling kits for the winners of the race as well as 10 eco-tote bags as support for female riders and recognition of their great accomplishments.

Even though the 3rd stage of the race on June 11th was canceled due to safety concerns, the spirit of women cyclists and sportsmanship remains the key theme that Jelenew would like to celebrate and bring to the rest of the world.
